Administrative support
The HNRU has personnel to manage room bookings, perform testing, and provide staff and student orientation.
Phlebotomy
The HNRU has a trained phlebotomist on staff to perform blood draws as needed for study protocols.
Registered Dietitian
The HNRU Coordinator is also a Registered Dietitian. The coordinator is able to provide input on dietary components of controlled feeding study and nutritional counselling as part of methodology for studies or as an honorarium for participants.
Nutrient Analysis
The HNRU has ten licenses for Food Processor, nutrient analysis software. The HNRU coordinator provides training for this software upon request.
Public Service program
The HNRU offers body composition and energy metabolism testing to the general public. Please refer to the Public Service page for more information.
